Flo & Friends Charity Organization is a humanitarian organization founded in 2021 in Western Uganda. We work within the Rwamwanja Refugee Settlements and the surrounding host communities to bring positive change to the lives of vulnerable children and teen mothers. Our primary focus is on providing quality education, promoting socio-economic transformation, and supporting the overall well-being of those we serve.
School supplies distribution, school fees payment, uniform provision, and literacy projects.
Classroom renovation, sports ground development, and library enhancement.
We provide daily nutritious meals and supplementary feeding for malnourished children in schools to encourage attendance and enhance student motivation and capacity for learning.
We produce and distribute reusable sanitary pads to young girls and mothers, enhancing menstrual hygiene management.
To encourage self-employment, we offer training in business management, financial literacy, and fundamental entrepreneurial skills.
Impact Measurement:
Increasing enrollment and reducing drop out rate data on school attendance, health improvements, literacy rates, and economic outcomes.
Success Stories: Sharing stories of transformation, such as teen mothers starting businesses or returning to school.
